The International Series India 2025: A Stellar Field Set to Tee Off at DLF Golf and Country Club

The International Series India 2025, with a USD 2 million prize pool, promises to be an exciting and highly competitive tournament, set to tee off on January 30 at the prestigious DLF Golf and Country Club. This highly anticipated event will bring together a dynamic mix of LIV Golf League stars and top talent from the Asian Tour, making it one of the season’s most awaited golf spectacles.

A Stellar Lineup of LIV Golf Stars

Leading the charge is Bryson DeChambeau, the reigning U.S. Open champion, who has had an impressive year with top finishes in three major tournaments. His victory at the U.S. Open was a highlight of his season, and he comes into this event ranked 8th.

“I’m excited to be part of such a high-caliber field at the International Series India. The level of competition will be intense, but I’m ready to give it my all,” DeChambeau says.

Joining DeChambeau are his Crushers GC teammates, Paul Casey (ranked 11th) and Anirban Lahiri (ranked 16th). Other notable LIV Golf League stars include Carlos Ortiz (ranked 13th) from Torque GC, along with Joaquin Niemann (ranked 2nd) and Abraham Ancer (ranked 12th) of Fireballs GC.

Top Competitors from the International Series

In addition to the star-studded LIV field, the International Series will feature Mito Pereira and Sebastian Munoz from Torque GC. Harold Varner III of 4Aces GC, known for his flair and distinctive playing style, is also among the exciting players to watch. The DLF Golf and Country Club, designed by Gary Player, will be a challenging yet beautiful backdrop for these top-tier players.

A significant player to keep an eye on is Andy Ogletree, the 2023 International Series Rankings champion. Ogletree, with three career wins, is set to bring his A-game to this prestigious event. Alongside him is Peter Uihlein, a two-time International Series champion, who finished as the runner-up in the rankings behind Niemann last season.

The Indian Contingent: Local Stars Ready to Shine

On the Indian side, the tournament will showcase eight players who have all previously won on the Asian Tour, making them a force to be reckoned with. Anirban Lahiri leads the pack with 7 titles, followed by Jeev Milkha Singh and SSP Chawrasia, both with 6 titles. Arjun Atwal, with 2 titles, also adds significant experience to the Indian lineup.

Joining these veterans are rising stars like Yuvraj Sandhu and Karandeep Kochhar, who have shown great promise in recent tournaments. Shiv Kapur will serve as the first reserve, further strengthening the Indian representation.

“It’s a tremendous honor to take part in the first-ever LIV Golf International Series in India. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to perform at this remarkable event and proudly represent my nation,” shares Lahiri.

The Next Generation of Indian Golf: Kartik Singh

One of the most exciting additions to the tournament is Kartik Singh, a 15-year-old amateur golfer ranked 3rd in the 2024 Junior Players Championship. Singh, the highest-ranked Indian amateur, has made headlines internationally for his performances in various global tournaments. He has already competed in the Junior Presidents Cup and helped Asia secure the prestigious Bonallack Trophy in the UAE, showcasing his immense talent.

“Competing against the best players in the world at such a young age is a dream come true. I’m excited to learn and grow from this experience,” says Kartik Singh.
